Talbot, Augustus Elbridge, Gus

Born in Marshall, Illinois. Died while he served as mayor and postmaster of Brainard. Married 12/12/1878 in Wahoo. Their first son, Edbridge August died in infancy. Both daughters, Pearl and Florence, died in young womanhood. Son Edbridge August 1881-1884, is buried in the McKnight/Talbot Cemetery in Saunders County. It is assumed that his daughter, Florence (Henderson) is buried in this cemetery because her obit states that and there is a Henderson Plot listed on the cemetery records. There is also this Talbot lot listed in the records, but no tombstones can be found on either lot. His wife, Mary, is buried here in this cemetery, according to her obituary.
